Sam's cafe is probably the most talked about cafe around Paharganj where tourists from all over the world come and stay as escape from the expensive five star hotel stays.
The lengths with which this particular cafe is talked about obviously made it to my must-visit-place list. Having heard and read so much about the experiences and food reviews I too was ready to make every possible effort to be here on one April afternoon. To break the long story short, there was nothing extraordinary that I felt when I finally made it to this place.
Apologies for the less of food images here. The visual of the cold coffee that appeared was too bad. (Taste is another story) To get the best out of our visit to the much talked about rooftop cafe- we ordered a bottle of Pepsi and made up for the efforts.
Please don't go there expecting amazing food. (Your man would cook better- Don't get me wrong- I am speaking of the men who don't cook anything more than maggi. They can make a better pizza!) If you still want to be here, please make up your mind not to expect much. This place is perfect to enjoy view and the open rooftop air along with your own thoughts or chit-chat over chai/coke with friend; or just pick a book and smile while flipping the pages...
Live an isolate life for a while and smile.
But if you are really hungry, this is definitely not the place to be.
I am going to visit it soon again and hope to find my own bliss there.
