Slice of Italy: Personal experience

 Here I am .. Its been a good day .. Weekday's first day after the

weekend !!! Yeah Monday !! The day kick started off with amazing time

along with friends... And of course since Diwali is right here - the

home cleaning and snapping out the old stuff and throwing it away had

begun at my place already .. Luckily I found my notebook on

photography that I had made in 2005 while learning the course at Bal

Bhawan ... It was all spoiled up with water spill .. But its a good

feeling to be able to find something after so long ... Anyways ... I

am typing this on my blackberry while sitting at a new place and all

alone .. I am at the slice of Italy ... Sakshi dropped me

here since she had to visit her uncle ... I had planned to go to pizza

hut to eat the salad but the weekend hangover of laziness was still on


P.s. This note was written two years back in 2011 and yes, I did visit this again.

... And then I headed towards the station instead ..While hunger struck

my tummy and food experimenting hitting my head all

the way at the same time, I planned to get inside this lil restaurant

right next to kfc !! At my sight it was new.. I never took notice of

it myself for a long time and so obviously when I entered in- it was

all empty and I was the only one at the restaurant and alone ! But

there was a very polite lady who greeted me ..I asked her for

suggestions for the best salad available with them, following which I placed

my order for the Hawaiian salad .. And when it appeared..in about 5

mins !!! It was oooolalallaa !! Yeah it looked awesome ! And its good

aswell !!! :). Clicked a few pictures which I would be posting ... It

had this really tempting sauce all over .. I knew my weight loss plan

was all over and ordering the salad was of no use !! This bowl right

infront of me is so beautiful !! The colors ! All fresh !! Red.. Baby

tomatoes and red capsicum .. Greens .. Capsicum again and the lettuce

... Olives.. Pineapple chunks served with garlic bread ... Hints of

fresh pepper .. Vinegar.. Salt and sugar along with penne pasta boiled

up just the way it should be !! It is bliss !!!! Yeah it is... Music

behind is good .. Nice ambiance in all .. !!
 I am joined by a couple who are pretty much in love .. :) they requested

the music adjusted according to them .. A love song behind ... the

approaching winters.. And yet another day and another moment spent

with myself is a bliss !!! Can't wait for more winter days to come

ahead !!! A good place in all if you are with friends .. With family who

loves Italian . Come with your partner or just alone if you have the

love for food ... I promise it ll be a good deal ;)

Ohh !! Yay ! I am going to come back here to try their pizzas ! Some

crazy junk heads in my gang of friends need to divert themselves from

Chinese and the usual Pizza Hut visits!!
Yes I did try out the pizza and would highly recommend NOT to take it !
However I tried their chocolate truffle during my office days at Shahpur Jat
and that was something awesome !
My forever favorite usual is to order Hawaiian Salad, Tagliolini Neri Pasta with Imperial garlic bread and
top it all up together with Chocolate Truffle.
